Thermal Care is there every step of the way to ensure your equipment works as promised. From our extensive product warranties to our system start-up services, Thermal Care has the finest customer service team available.
Our customer service reps are trained technicians that can promptly diagnose a problem over the phone. They have direct access to information about your equipment including bills of material, CAD drawings, and equipment service history through our computer database. If a plant visit is needed, Thermal Care has an extensive network of service companies that can usually provide same day service.

When contacting the customer service or parts departments please be sure to have the unit model and serial numbers in question available. That information will assist us in providing you with prompt service.
In the event that you require service outside of our regular business hours the following options are suggested:
- Wait until the next regular business day to contact the Thermal Care Service Department.
- Call the Thermal Care after hours technical phone support hotline 24/7 at 847-966-2636.
- Contact a local service company. In order to be considered for warranty coverage, you must contact the Thermal Care Service Department during the next regular business day to make them aware of your situation. You will be asked to forward invoices to them for warranty coverage review.

Technical Training
A two day, intensive, hands on comprehensive training course designed to equip technicians with the skills needed to maintain and understand a Thermal Care TC Series central chiller. The course provides insight into compressor design, unit operation, unit installation, start-up requirements, unit performance and service diagnosis. Class is provided at no cost. Attendee pays travel and lodging costs.
The training course is taught by professional Thermal Care Service Technicians and covers Turbocor compressor technology, monitoring software, PLC controllers, and the TC Series central chiller. The course is set up to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the Thermal Care TC Series central chiller.

Sample Course Schedule
Day 1 | 7 hours 8:30AM – 3:30PM
Demo Turbocor compressor is totally disassembled in the classroom to fully understand all components, what they do, and how they are replaced. Thermal Care /Turbocor software and chiller controls are reviewed in detail.
Day 2 | 4 hours 8:30 PM -12:30 PM
Safety, maintenance, and warranty coverage are reviewed. Plant tour and time spent working with an operational TC Series chiller.
Prerequisites
Technicians should have a good understanding of refrigeration fundamentals and excellent electrical and mechanical skills in HVAC troubleshooting. Technician service experience with centrifugal chillers is recommended, but not required. Experience with chiller control systems would be helpful, but is not required. Familiarity with basic computing skills, file management and Internet downloading procedures is also desirable.
Plant Requirements
Leather shoes which give good protection, gym shoes are not allowed.
Safety glasses will be provided by Thermal Care.
Certification
At end of class a certificate of course completion is provided.
